Danmoto carbon gp underwear with remote sound control system. The new danmoto remote sound control system allows you to adjust the noise level while you're riding. Our carbon gp mufflers nicely perform, look and sound great and also help you to drop a lot of weight of your bike. But the great sound is sometimes a little bit too much.

Maybe you want to get away from it when you're riding your bike ... Or you want to get exhausted when you're riding on the twisties, but a more quiet sound when you ' re driving in the city. There are many situations where a loud exhaust might be appropriate, but you do not want to drive around with a quiet muffler all the time.

Normally that would require exchanging your exhaust or installing a bike every time you want to change the sound level of your bike. Our new rsc system allows you to do so while you're riding. This carbon muffler has been equipped with the rsc, which means that it has 2 internal baffles, which are stepless adjustable in position. The two baffles are linked and controlled by an adjuster wheel, which is a separate hand control unit.

The hand control and the exhaust system are linked by a bowden cable. Please see the video below for an explanation of how the system works.

The exhaust system is build to the same standard as the normal carbon gp. It has a 12k carbon fiber sleeve with a high gloss finish, but also an internal aluminum shielding for a long lifetime. The mid pipe, endcaps and the complete baffle system of the all stainless steel 304 stainless steel.

The hand control unit is cnc billet billet aluminum. One muffler weights about 1.3kg. This is a massive weight reduction compared to the stock muffler.

Installation of this exhaust requires no fueling adjustments / tuning. If you want to see, please visit youtube and search for "danmoto". When you close the baffle it tones down the exhaust, comparable as it would do when you install a removable cabinet / db killer. You can adjust the baffle to anywhere from fully open to fully closed. How does it affect performance if i close the baffle? The success is a good performance when you run it in "open" mode. The more you close the baffle, the more you also reduce the flow and increase the pressure in the exhaust.

When fully closed you still get a performance result comparable to the stock exhaust. How long is the bowden cable? The cable is 2m long. That's rather long, in order to give you full flexibility in choosing a position. If that's too long for the position you have decided to take the cable in a circle behind the fairing or under the fuel tank.
